Pixie cuts were popularized first in the late 1950s when Audrey Hepburn wore the style in her debut filmRoman Holiday, and later in the 1960s by actress Mia Farrow and British supermodel Twiggy.

According to Elle, the pixie cut has been worn by "some of the biggest, boldest, and bravest stars throughout history.  The original jaw-dropping moment in celebrity hair history was certainly the pixie cut. Long, luscious locks are upheld as the ideal image of beauty, so the chop is regarded by many as a fearless moment of change and bravery.

It started with Vidal Sassoon giving actress Mia Farrow a (now iconic) gamine 'do for her role inRosemary's Baby. Nearly 50 years later, it's still one of the most talked about cuts ever.

the bob

Renowned dancer and fashion trendsetter Irene Castle introduced her "Castle bob" to a receptive American audience in 1915, and by 1920 the style was rapidly becoming fashionable. Popularized by film star Mary Thurman in the early 1920s. It was seen as a somewhat shocking statement of independence in young women known as flappers. In the mid 1960s, Vidal Sassoon made it popular again, using the shape of the early bob and making it more stylish in a simpler cut. Its resurgence coincided with the arrival of the "mop top" Beatle cut for men. In 2006 the bob was adopted by  Madonna and, as a move away from boho-chic, by actress Sienna Miller. Later, ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham decided to cut her own hair into such a style, helping to raise its popularity worldwide. The "BOB', "POB" and "LOB" still remain ever popular today.

This 2 comb technique provides a modern, time effective twist on a classic shape.

A beard is seen as a form of self-expression by many men. A-listers have been scoping the world of beards by being major influences to men's facial hair and creating beard style trends. Celebrities such as Micheal Fassbender and that manly fellow from the TV show Vikings have  been increasing the popularity of beards while keeping them credible for masculine men who don't want to be deemed a hipster.

Different trends have resulted in different styles of facial hair coming into fashion. This has resulted in men visiting the barbers more often in the hopes of achieving a bearded look that is currently fashionable. Join

A new breed of men have been created ever since 2010, and this breed is known as the Undercut Men.
